Mission

Our mission at GPBS is to provide students with a quality education based on a rigorous curriculum that keeps students at the center of its design while creating a balance between the academic demands, cultural activities, and community life. We encourage students to be communicators, principled, open-minded, responsible, caring, risk-takers, and innovative by empowering them with the skills, values, and knowledge in pursuit of a better world where they appreciate their own culture and respect diversity. We encourage curiosity through inquiry and research as well as making meaningful contributions to the community; we prepare our students for life.

Vision

We are providing an environment for our students to grow and excel committed to developing compassionate, inquiring, critical thinking, reflective, risk-taking students who will help create a better future through respectful communication and creative vision. Empower students to be open-minded, understanding, and confident with the ability to reach decisions that are balanced and educated.

Core Values

Honesty & Respect The principles of honesty and mutual respect are the foundation for our professional relationships which extends to our local and global community. We respect, support, care and value each member of our school community and collaboratively work to ensure that our commitment to honesty is reflected in our academic work.
Responsibility We are responsible for the success of students, support of each other, and support of our community. GPIS teachers are dedicated to providing a life time learning experience every day. Students are encouraged to learn how to be responsible for their own learning, to be thinkers, communicators, balanced, risk-takers and open mindedness.
Understanding Is the compassion, learning, commitment, respect, and trust needed to understand ourselves and others to thrive in a complex world.
Identity Is the nurturing of the individual within a multicultural context, providing a platform for self-expression and awareness as empowered international citizens.
