Statement of Philosophy

Global Paradigm Baccalaureate School aims to provide forward looking education, focused on students’ diverse needs to help them reach their full potential through the development of their skills. The pedagogical framework of the school shifts the focus from teaching to learning and recognizes the interconnectedness of learning experiences and their impact on students’ life outside the school context.

The school supports international mindedness and the development of global citizenship that lies at the heart of the IB philosophy and are reflected through the development of the Learner Profile Attributes and Approaches to Learning Skills. In displaying international mindedness, students recognize common values but also critically examine cultural differences in an atmosphere of respect and cooperation, resulting in an internationally minded global citizen who displays the values of tolerance and intercultural understanding.  Children are encouraged to participate individually and collaboratively in their local and global communities and to undertake appropriate responsibilities.
